Nik MacMillan as Illia Fairchild

Nik MacMillan plays MIND’S EYE’s chosen one Illia, but his experience in film has included directing YouTube videos with his friends, and creating commercials for school assignments. He has always been comfortable speaking or performing in front of an audience and considers himself a computer whiz with a keen interest in the mechanics of filmmaking. Like Illia, Nik is an avid reader, and can often be found with a sketchbook and pencil in hand. He is also a competitive trampolinist. Nik recently celebrated his 13th birthday this past July.

Andrew Ellis as Young Mark

Andrew Ellis plays the heroic Mark, leader of the Dreamweavers in MIND’ S EYE, and at the age of 14 is already an accomplished filmmaker in his own right. Mark and his team won "Best Unedited Film" in the Ed Video’ s 24 Hour Filmmaking Challenge in 2008 and then took "Audience Choice Award" in Ed Video’ s 2010 challenge. When not making movies, Andrew is highly active, whether it’ s on his bronze medal winning Chicopee Downhill ski team, taking fencing lessons, working as a life guard, kicking the soccer ball around, or playing Ultimate Frisbee. Also musically inclined, Andrew plays saxophone and drums in his school concert band and jazz band.

Lily O'Coin as Young Elyssa

Lily O'Coin an inspired young actress who enjoys theatre, dance, writing her own performance pieces and composing music. Lily is a member of the Educational Theatre Collective and the Guelph Youth Theatre where she continues to learn how to hone her craft. A Straight A student, Lily is also very involved in her community. She volunteers her time to many local charities and is a strong role model for the younger children in her school, teaching them positive conflict management skills, how to read and play fair. In MIND’S EYE, Lily plays Elyssa, and it’s her first professional film role.

Jodre Datu as Young Koji

Jodre Datu is described by his siblings as a 40-year-old man trapped in a 12-year-old's body because of his shy nature and dry sense of humour; which makes him an odd choice for the exuberant role of Koji. Responsible, kind, imaginative and creative, Jodre is a Straight ‘A’ student who won a silver medal last year in the Waterloo-Wellington Science and Engineering Fair for a project on the effects of sleep deprivation. He also placed fifth in running long jump for Guelph City Track and has achieved First Class Honours in several piano courses at the Royal Conservatory. MIND’S EYE is Jodre’s first acting role. In the fall, he’ll be entering grade 8 at Taylor Evans Public School in Guelph.

Aidan Harris as Young Patrick

Aidan is an aspiring actor, musician, composer, artist and writer who has studied piano for the last five years and has composed his own music. He also enjoys writing and drawing. When not devoting his time to the arts, Aidan can be seen on the ice playing hockey as a fearless defenseman. His quick speed and determination helped lead his hockey team to victory in the 2010 championship game. Aidan is also an accomplished combatant in medieval martial arts and has competed in, and won, a number of tournaments thanks to his skill with a sword and shield. All of which make him a perfect addition to the MIND’S EYE cast as the unflappable Patrick.

Nathan Fryer as Young Darius

Nathan Fryer is new to acting and playing the part Darius in MIND’S EYE THE SERIES and his first professional role. When Nathan is not acting he enjoys a full and active life including soccer, football, basketball, golf and learning new tricks on his skateboard. In the off-season Nathan switches to hockey and snowboarding, or, as a self-confessed “gaming nerd”, kicks back with a board game or a turn at the X-Box. Claire Moran as Young Nadia

Claire Morgan is a Grade 7 student from Aurora, ON and MIND’S EYE THE SERIES is her first acting role. An artistic soul, Claire enjoys singing acting, acting and drawing, but she also enjoys playing sports. Hockey is her favourite, having played it for the last seven years, but she also loves swimming, soccer, volleyball and golf with a little bit of skiing during the winter months. But above all else, Claire likes telling a good story, and when she grows up her aspiration is to be a screenwriter.

Thomas Gofton as Patrick

Initiating as an actor, Thomas Gofton started his parent production company Lynnvander Inc. in the spring of 2006 just before attaining his degree in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Guelph. Since his first fully produced feature length comedy "FOUR ACES", Thomas fostered the growth of Synn Studios Inc., a media production facility where he serves as President and C.E.O. Thomas also founded SharpCuts: Indie Film and Music Festival held annually in southern Ontario. Co-founder of iN Magazine and the web series channel Series North, Thomas works diligently as a producer, film editor and graphic designer.

Tom Brown as Mark

A graduate of the University of Guelph, Tom works primarily as a screenwriter, editor, and director. Despite being most at home behind the lens, Tom is no stranger to being on screen or stage. With 10 years of improvisation and sketch comedy experience under his belt, Tom teaches with the Players Without Strings and sits on the Board of Directors for the SharpCuts: Indie Film and Music Festival. Tom is the co-creator, writer, and co-director of MIND’S EYE and is constantly working with his partners at Synn Studios to create more projects that the team can bring to life. As a member of Synn Studios Inc., Tom works enthusiastically to foster the company's growth as the Vice-President and C.O.O.

Danika Czubak as Elyssa

Born and raised in Toronto, Danika studied stage acting at Ryerson University before relocating to Vancouver and discovering her love for film at the renowned Vancouver Film School. After graduating from the Acting Program, Danika produced and performed in the play “ Sunday on the Rocks” , directed by Jim Bates at the Havana Theatre. She then went on to film projects like the horror/dark comedy feature HOWARD AND BETTY, and the short films KARMA BABY and THE REAL NEIL. Danika has also appeared in various TV shows such as PSYCH and THE TWO COREYS and appeared in several national commercials for companies like Fitness on the Go and the University of Florida.

Zeeke Hamilton as Darius

Zeeke is a trained musician from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music and has been playing piano since the age of 6. At the University of Guelph, where he studied theoretical physics and philosophy, he played trumpet in a jazz band on the club circuit before graduating to musical theatre. Working with the Obsidian Theatre Company, Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions and Royal City Musical Productions, Zeeke performed in a dozen shows including BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, FAME and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT. Of his compositional style, Zeeke says it’s a combination of John Williams and Danny Elfman, but he has experience writing music of all genres.

Sean Liu as Koji

Sean Liu wasn’t always bound for a career in acting. He studied math and physics at the University of Waterloo, but after graduating he found himself at an impasse and decided to dust off an old dream of his: acting. After working as an actor and model for the last year and a half, Sean won the role of Hero Koji, the Dreamweaver Ninja, in the upcoming webseries MIND’S EYES. Sean says that he feels very lucky to have been a part of the MIND’S EYE team, and during filming he met a lot of cool people and feels as though they became a type of family while shooting. “I love the role Koji, and had a good time playing this character and being a superhero.”

Johnny Quinn as The Dolgrath Devil

Johnny is both an actor and screenwriter, who has studied his craft from the underground theatre scene in Peterborough to the sunny streets of Los Angeles. He has been seen in several films and television shows over the years, and is proud and honoured at being given the opportunity to play the lead villain, Dolgrath, in MIND’S EYE. Johnny plans to shoot several feature films in 2011, and is currently in pre-production on those ventures. Along with MIND”S EYE he can currently be seen as Lieutenant Roe in the gamers webseries, BROTHERHOOD OF LEET, which is from the producers of the Showcase television series, PURE PWNAGE. Johnny Quinn currently resides in the city he was born and raised – Toronto, Canada.
