Screening at Gen Con

Film Festival Official Selection

Gen-Con-Upd-Con-Update

Mind's Eye the Fantasy Series has been invited to screen as part of the festivities of Indianapolis' famous gaming convention, GEN CON.

Gen Con Indy is the original, longest running, best attended, gaming convention in the world. For over 41 years, Gen Con Indy has been setting the trend and breaking records. Last year, more than 100,698 turnstile and 30,000 unique attendees experienced Gen Con Indy. The biggest complaint we hear is that there is simply too much to do, see, and experience. Get lost in a phantasm of art exhibits. Stare at jaw-dropping costumes, or better yet, wear one of your own. Meet the movers and the shakers in the gaming industry. Check out the newest games and get a sneak peek at the latest editions.

And the best part about that description is that Mind's Eye is going to be there on the film track as part of the film festival. The creator and subsequent cast/crew will be in attendance on a panel during the weekend so don't be shy!

Dreamweaver the Roleplaying Game

The Dreamweaver Roleplaying Game

Dreamweavers is a pen-and-paper role playing game set in the same world as the Mind’s Eye web series. Players will be able to take on the roles of humans, half-bloods, and dreamweavers who have been caught up in a secret war against powerful supernatural forces.

The percentile-based rules system has finally reached a point where we can start doing in-house playtests. Our playtesters have already used the rules to create several test characters. The characters ended up being very different from each other, but on initial inspection they appeared to be very balanced and seemed to cover everything the players wanted their characters to be able to do.

The next step will be to play many, many, playtest games and see how the rules hold up to actual gameplay.  If you are interested in beta testing this game please contact mindseye@lynnvander.com and lets talk about it.
