The Kids of MIND’S EYE Meet THE GUILD’S Felicia Day

Could a crossover be in the works? We're not sure, but we do know that the young players of MIND'S EYE were both thrilled and honoured to get a chance to meet and talk to Felicia Day, star of DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG and the webseries THE GUILD, at this past weekend's National Fan Expo.  Obviously, the kids are big fans of Ms. Day's series, which follows the offline adventures of a group of online gamers. Hoping to follow in THE GUILD's tremendous success, Nik MacMillan, Aidan Harris, Jodre Datu, Andrew Ellis, Nathan Fryer and McKinlee Phillips talked MIND'S EYE with Ms. Day and took the opportunity to open the door for her to appear in the second season of their webseries.

Getting the opportunity to meet the wonderful Felicia Day (who was really, really nice to all kids at Fan Expo by the way) was just one of the many great memories that cast and crew took away from the weekend event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (and that goes double for Jodre). Mind’s Eye at the National Fan Expo!

The cast and crew of Mind's Eye the series are extremely proud to announce that they will be attending Hobby Star's: National Fan Expo 2010!   The cast and crew will be teaming up with Association company Synn Studios Inc. (the studio responsible for facilitating the production office during production of Mind's Eyes first season).



On Saturday the 28th at the selected times of 12pm, 2pm and 4pm the first fully produced trailer for the series will be screened at the Synn Studios Booth # 619 across from Warner Brothers and Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada.   The trailer will be shown exclusively at the Fan Expo 2010.  This trailer will be launched again October 31st as part of the Halloween marketing kick off!   So come to the expo and check us out at the Synn Studios booth #619.



Cast and crew will be on hand to answer questions, sign give aways or explain the show!  Hope to see you there!

Principal Photography Wraps for Mind’s Eye

It was with some sadness and great, exhaled bouts of joy that MIND'S EYE wrapped principal photography on Friday. The final scenes were shot at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Guelph as the heroic Dreamweavers fought the evil Dolgrath one last time.

But while this is an ending - with cast and crew parting company and going their seperate ways - in many respects this is just the beginning of work on the series. Now there are many weeks of post-production to be getting on with, as well as the continual promoting of all things MIND'S EYE.

Stay tuned to this website over the next couple of months as we count down to the launch of MIND'S EYE THE SERIES and follow along with all the adventures in post-production from the editing suite to the foley sessions to visual effects rendering. As well, the cast and crew of MIND'S EYE will be at the National Fan Expo in Toronto on August 27-29, so come out and see us there.

In other words, there's lots more MIND'S EYE news to come, so stay tuned.

As we round into the second week of principal, many of the vibrant and talented youth have begun their own blogs in order to share with their friends and families the experiences of the life of being an actor for film.
